Opening of the judicial year

On 25 January 2024, the traditional opening ceremony of the judicial year took place at the Court of Cassation. The First President of the Court described this ceremony as an opportunity to 'provide the community with an account of all the efforts made to ensure the correct, timely and modern functioning of justice' and to 'convey a message of hope, based on concrete data, so as to help strengthen citizens' trust in the institutions'.
